Most professional software has settled on a single shape: a subscription to a tenant in a vendor's cloud. It is a good shape for the vendor. For a clinician holding patient records, a business holding its ledger, or a family holding a relative's care history, it introduces a dependency and a disclosure surface that the work itself never required.
Our products are built the other way. The record lives on the practitioner's machine. The model runs there too. The vendor — us — is not in the path of the data, which means our access to it is not a matter of policy or trust; it does not exist.
That constraint shapes everything: a shared spine that every product is thin over, cryptographic entitlement instead of server-side session checks, and audit trails that a third party can verify without our cooperation.
