These terms govern your use of software and services provided by LINUS Software, LLC. Using them means you accept these terms.
Purchasing a plan grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software for the term or perpetuity you purchased, subject to the seat and quota limits of that plan. Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are managed by those stores under their terms.
You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense the software, or remove its licensing mechanisms.
You retain all rights to the records you create. The desktop applications store them on your own device; we claim no licence over them and cannot access them.
Because your records live on your device, keeping backups is your responsibility. We cannot restore data we never held.
Our clinical, financial and care products are tools, not professionals. CareGraph and KinNova are advisory and are not medical devices; nothing they produce is a diagnosis or a treatment decision. LINUS Estate and Osprey produce illustrative analytics and are not investment, tax or legal advice. BizCore.one does not replace an accountant. Regulatory obligations that apply to your practice or business — HIPAA among them — remain yours; running software locally reduces disclosure surface but is not a certification.
Desktop applications run without us. Hosted services are provided as-is and without a guaranteed uptime commitment unless separately agreed in writing.
The software is provided without warranty to the maximum extent permitted by law. To that same extent, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow those stores' refund policies. For direct purchases, write to the support address within 30 days.
You may stop using the software at any time. We may terminate a licence for material breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LINUS Software, LLC is registered.
